Winter Is Coming: Are You Ready?

Ok Kids! It's been a while since we've updated the blog, but winter is here and I have lots to tell you.

Rory has been hard at work getting the shop stocked with all the hot new snowboarding gear. After months of hard work we did it! The following is what we and our friends are riding this year.

Me - I picked up the GNU Billy Goat 159. Of course its got magne-traction and banana tech, plus its got a cool motorcycle graphic. You'll have to come check it out. I haven't decided on my bindings yet. There are just too many choices down here at GZ. I did go with the Vans Cirro Double Boa Boot this year. Size 9!! I love the comfort and definitely the stability the boot gives.

Rory was super stoked on the Lib-Tech Phoenix 157 with banana tech and magne-traction. He screwed on some Union Data Bindings to hold down his feet in his DC boots, as always. Make sure you check out Rory on the hill in his fresh DC kit.

Dash is rolling a DC MLF 155 and the DC PB&J board with Union Data Bindings, DC Park Boot and Oakley Goggles and DC outerwear.

Tyler from the park got the Skunk Ape just the other day.

My girl Bonny got the GNU B-Street Pro with flow bindings. She is rocking the Vans Veil Double Boa boot that have the RECCO Avalanche Rescue System reflectors so that way I can find her if I needed to. To keep her as warm as possible she is wearing a Volcom puffy jacket with Burton snowpants that zip into the Jacket. Boy I am glad she shops at GZ :)

Welcome to the official GZ Boardshops blog.

GZ Boardshops is located in beautiful downtown Sandpoint, Idaho and is North Idaho's snowboarding, wakeboarding and skateboarding authority. We stock all your summer beach, lake, and nightlife needs, from bikinis and boardshorts to tubes and tow ropes.

Come see us on the corner of 1st and Bridge Street on your way down to City Beach and check out all the great summer fun equipment to get you out on the water. Or if you're just interested in looking good, our selection of shorts, shirts, bikinis, hats, sunglasses and shoes will blow you away.

Roll by 116 N 1st Avenue Sandpoint, Idaho to see all this great stuff. You can even boat up to the back dock if you come up Sand Creek from Lake Pend Oreille, just past the Sandpoint Marina up against Bridge Street.
